Zendaya and Tom Holland

In an era of paparazzi snaps and curated Instagram announcements, Zendaya and Tom Holland have even further become icons today, not just for their acting but for how they manage their life together off‑camera, especially when it comes to their engagement or their relationship as a whole. The pair, who met on set have been one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples since making their relationship official in 2021, confirmed their engagement quietly in late 2024, with Zendaya debuting a stunning engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes rather than a big public announcement, something fans have been waiting a long time for. Fast‑forward to 2026 and rumors have swirled, including claims they may have even tied the knot privately, but neither Zendaya nor Holland has confirmed anything. Zendaya has explained this silence is intentional and that she wants to protect the parts of her life that feel sacred and private, acknowledging the intense “parasocial investment” fans have in their relationship while choosing not to let that dictate their narrative. This idea of keeping engagement and potential wedding plans out of tabloids and social media spectacles feels refreshing honestly. Rather than perform personal milestones for clout, Zendaya and Tom are setting their own terms about what they share and what they keep just for themselves and it's so nice to see bits and pieces of their private lives, keeping people and them all happy.

    I like that they are private when it comes to their relationship. Sometimes, the media truly is too much, and I love how they have been able to stay out of the messy headlines. We only know Zendaya and Tom Holland from a media perspective. Anything else is off limits, and that's how it should be when it comes to celebrities and famous people in the limelight.

    I respect that they choose to stay private, as I feel social media can cause so many problems within relationships not for just celebs but for everyone in general. I am hyped for this next Spider-Man movie though.

    I really like your point about Zendaya and Tom Holland controlling their own narrative in a very public world. It is refreshing how they choose privacy over constant media attention, especially with such intense fan interest. It shows that even celebrities can set boundaries and protect meaningful moments in their lives. buttttttt I want to see the weddings photos!!!!!

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
