Semester wrap up/ summer plans

 The semester is almost over!! Personally I am so ready to get finals done with, pack up everything, and drive home for the summer. I wanted to check in on everyone on how their semester and year went! Did you like this semester, have a favorite class, have a favorite memory? Literally anything about your semester and how it went I want to hear about it! Also, what are your summer plans? Are you staying here, going home (where is home for you?), working, going on any trips? Let me know!


For me I really enjoyed this year overall. I am a freshman so the initial transition was hard but once I started finding friends and liking my classes I had fun! One of my favorite memories is probably having game nights with my friends and going to the beach. Joining clubs was super fun and have met so many new people in them. This summer I will be back home in MD mostly working (trying to save up for a car) and getting clinical hours in (need them to get into grad school)! I am going on a big trip with my family for Colorado and Hawaii so I am looking forward to that.

    This is such a nice post idea! I'm glad you enjoyed your freshman year and all I can say as a senior graduating soon is it all goes by so fast so enjoy every minute :) After graduation I plan to go back home to New York and get my masters degree in English Literature. This summer I also have a trip to Italy planned as a congratulations to myself for actually graduating lol. I hope you have a good summer and enjoy your time back in MD as well as your family trip!

    I cannot wait to finish this semester the senioritis is real, and it is kicking my ass to be quite frank with you. I have a lot of fun travel plans for the summer two of those being a two-week trip to peru and another one later in the summer to japan!

    I can't wait for the semester to be over! I'm doing a study abroad for Maymester to Berlin for my photography minor and I'm so excited! I've never been outside of the country by plane before, I've only done a cruise to the Caribbean and Canada but I'm traveling by myself to Europe and meeting everyone else there so I'm a little nervous. I'm glad you had a good freshman year!!

    I cannot wait to go home for the summer and spend some time with my hometown friends, hang out, and especially start working cause my bank account is not looking how I want it to look.

    I think this year definitely was a turning point. I think that I finally realized post college plans are just around the corner which has definitely changed my perspective on school. But I am so ready for a break and am looking forward to staying in my house with my two roommates for the summer!

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut. I love designing projects and bringing them to life by pressing my designs onto clothes and other items. Creating something tangible from a digital idea is really rewarding.
