Ludwig/ The Yard Podcast

I feel like I am running out of things to write about, so this week you all get to hear about my favorite Streamer/ Youtuber Ludwig “From Video Games”, okay just Ludwig. I find myself listening to the podcast he is on, The Yard, as well as watching some of his bigger videos like riding motorcycles across Japan/ China with Michael Reeves and even bigger events like Chess Boxing and Mogul Money (a streamer version of Jeopardy). The boys say some pretty wild stuff on The Yard, but it is always known to be jokes and they haven't gone to places that I would think are offensive. Ludwig to me is a very funny guy who also cares about viewers and seems politically correct. Within the past year, one of his trans viewers passed away and he hosted a stream that raised and donated a lot of money to The Trevor Project. When he was doing a stream where viewers link items to buy to decorate his room, someone wanted a trans flag purchased, and he hung it on his wall to be in the back of his streams for quite some time. If you just watched the Yard Podcast, you may hear questionable jokes made, but these four truly are good people with good hearts. Ludwig's famous, Slime is bald, Aiden is bisexual, Nick is ginger. They really make quite the group.

    In the recent years I haven’t been following Ludwig as much, I used to watch him lot in middle school. But time to time I see clips of him, I notice in the clips he always in good spirits and is having a good time. It’s cool to see him still at the top of the creators in the world and still be such a good guy.

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
