D4vd Murder Charge

On Monday, the singer D4vd was finally charged with first degree murder. Back in September, dismembered human remains belonging to a 14 year old were found in his impounded Tesla. There was a putrid smell coming from the car, so police were contacted. The remains belonged to 14 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez who was believed to be having relations with the singer. She ran away from home in April, and her remains were not found until September. Since there was a lot of time that between the death and findings, a lot of evidence was lost.

In court, he did not plead guilty, but was still convicted. He was also accused of sexual assault, and one of the reasons he is believed to have murdered her, is because she was victim to this assault and if news got out it would ruin his career. In the end, it still has caught up to him and now the rest of his life is ruined. He is going to jail for life, without possibility of parole. There is also the chance of his sentence resulting in the death penalty.

  1. This is disgusting. With the amount of evidence, he should have been arrested way earlier. I am glad they found him guilty.

  2. I just wanted to comment on the fact how it took this long to apprehend him with the evidence clearly pointing at him.

  3. When I saw this I wanted to actually throw up from how disgusting of a person he is as well as how it took them so long to but him behind bars

  4. I want to emphasize JD's point - why did it take so long for something to be done when there was so much evidence outlining his crime. The worst and most gut-wrenching part is that he leaves messages of his crimes in his music. A lot. It was right there, and fans were singing along. I hope Celeste is resting peacefully, and her family can find closure.

  5. The thing that's crazy that in his music, he discreetly leaves hints to this crime. More baffing that people have decided to blame Celeste when she was innocent. Also, the fact that at Coachella, someone decided to leave that message in the sky about her is so disgusting.

  6. It makes no sense to me how it took this long for him to get locked up.

  7. Along with what everyone else is saying I also can't believe it took this long. Absolutely disgusting and I don't understand how some people can still listen to him.

  8. I don’t get how this took so long to make an arrest, it was so obvious. RIP Celeste
