Britney Spears

Recently, it has come out that Britney Spears had made the decision to check herself into rehab, following an arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence back in March. Someone from her team had made a statement about her situation basically saying that her actions were inexcusable and her checking into rehab was one of the first steps in the right direction for her. Britney has also posted many other questionable videos in the past of her in her house. Some of them are simple, just her dancing in her house, while others are a bit more concerning, like one she posted dancing around with a knife in her hand.

There have been many rumors about Britney, many of them surrounding the #FreeBritney movement. This was a movement that advocated for the end of her censorship, which is what concerned so many people. There have also been rumors that Britney was killed and she is a clone, but theories like that I believe are a bit far fetched. Circling back to rehab, I think this was a good decision for her, especially if addiction is something that she has been struggling with.

  1. I can also agree that she is not a clone although in a general aspect of other celebrities or influential people, I think it could be a possibility. The media and media industry has burdened her in my opinion. First the fact that no one truly understands what it’s like to be a famous individual like Brittney herself. Furthermore, I am not excusing her actions across her life but it’s ignorant to ignore the experiences she endured which contribute to her behavior and identity. I think rehab is a good start but even with everyone talking about it, it can apply more pressure on her to either continue with it or for it to even help her with what she’s feeling or experienced. I hope she can feel healthy enough to produce again someday.
