Bob’s Burgers is one of the best shows in my opinion especially growing up and still watching till this day. This show is so good because it has its funny and related family dynamics. They all have their own funny personality and every episode there is something new which makes it good to watch such as Louise being the younger sibling always being up to something, but Tina being a teenager in her awkward ways and having odd, but funny obsessions. Me, my sister and mom watched it all together all the time and we remember the one episode where they have to write I believe creative essays so the episode puts it to real life with Gene doing his fart song, Tina with the obsession over butts and zombies stop attacking after seeing her flip her hair to be subductive, and Lousie with the principle being a robot and having to kill them, but when the principle calls Bob and Linda about how they were an issue, they ended up liking the stories in the end and tried to figure out why he hated it so much. Since I grew up watching Bob’s Burgers it’s definitely a comfort show I can always go and rewatch episodes and not be bored.
I absolutely adore Bob's Burgers! My favorite character is Tina - I love how they are unafraid to portray her as an awkward, geeky teen with abstract interests. I feel like they don't follow a lot of silly stereotypes in their portrayal of all their female characters which makes the show feel much more realistic and heartwarming.
ReplyDeleteBob's Burgers is definitely a favorite for me. It discusses the humor and personality of everyone very well. It uses humor with gender but never uses it to put anyone down. Gene is comfortable in his masculinity while he can dress up and present "feminine". Tina is shown clearly as an awkward crushing teen but they make her puberty journey relatable. Bob and Linda are also amazing to watch together as they love each other very strongly and don't display a lot of serious problems together. They work as a team and support each other so strongly and it is so refreshing. Louise is also very amazing with how they show her spunky personality and show her display of her gender expression. I also love how it has a black trans woman in the show, to which Bob compliments! I love the show so much.

ReplyDeleteI have always loved this show. I think it does the perfect job of almost making fun of typical famiy dynamics. You have the awkward teenager, and the mischevious younger sibling like you talked about. I also like how every episode is funny, and this show is a great one to just have on as a background show.
