Alix Earle and Alex Cooper

 Just yesterday, Alex Cooper took to TikTok to address the "beef" between her and Alix Earle. Basically, this drama started when Alix Earle's podcast was no longer a part of Alex Cooper's podcasting network. Alex, had caught on to the fact that Alix was reposting TikToks, or something minor like that. Personally, I think that this whole drama thing is pretty stupid, and shows how one thing on social media can blow up into another. A couple reposts have been taken as this huge feud and has now resulted into Alex calling out Alix publicly. Perfect example on how I believe social media has negatively been impacting relationships between people because of how blown out of proportion things can get.

    I agree that this situation seems blown out of proportion. Small things on social media can turn into big drama fast, even when it might not be that serious. It can make people think there is a big conflict when there really isn’t much there.

    My social media is full of people talking about this situation. Before this week I had little other no idea who Alix Earle was. I knew of her as her ex boyfriend was a player on my favorite football team but other than that I did not know who she was. As for Alex Cooper, I know her from Call Her Daddy but I rarely listen to the podcast unless a celebrity I follow is featured. Outside of the interviews I listen to every few months, I also don't know who she is. I'm a little confused by the whole situation and I think the two of them should either talk amongst themselves or just drop the drama because airing it all on the media is only going to twist the narrative.

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
