2026 Masters Winner

If anyone is a golf fan then I know you have been glued to your screens watching the Masters like me. Watching Rory McIlroy win the 2026 The Masters Tournament for the second year in a row was really amazing to see. It felt like a huge moment in sports history. Winning this tournament even one time is very hard but doing it two times in a row shows how talented and focused he is. The Masters is played at Augusta National Golf Club and it is known for being very difficult because every shot matters and small mistakes can change everything. This win is also important because only a few golfers have ever won the Masters in back to back years. Now Rory is one of only four players in history to do this which is a huge deal. The last time it happened was when Tiger Woods won in 2001 and 2002. Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers ever so being compared to him shows how important Rory’s achievement is. It also makes me think about how sports history is made by moments like this that people remember for a long time. Usually the previous year’s winner gives the current champion the iconic green jacket but since Rory cannot present it to himself, Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley will present Rory with the green jacket instead. That tradition makes the moment even more special because it shows respect for the champion and the history of the game. Overall this win feels like something people will talk about for years because it shows greatness, consistency, and what it means to make history in golf.

    I watched him play from hole 7-12 and it was intriguing to see him rise to the top of the board and consistently win. This is a significant achievement for him and the game of golf and you used a good example of Tiger Woods and how he accomplished the same. I wanted ask what you thought about all the AI generated videos of Tiger Woods crashing his veichle onto the course and how you think that looks for the golf industry?

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
