Women Putting Down Other Women in the Media

 For this blog I wanna talk about the way women put other women down on social media. Even if it’s not on purpose, sometimes women will just comment whatever they have come to mind about another woman’s body or looks or outfit or body hair or appearance or the thing she says in her videos and overall that’s us as women putting each other down and I feel like with the way we’re already expected to act and look in three others in a specific way because we’re women, I feel like this is wrong. Most of these platforms were created to make connections with each other and make friends and create larger platforms for yourself to get yourself out there, but I found that a lot of these platforms are getting used negatively like there’s some women (and men) who get on the Internet just to make fun of other people or roast them or troll them. These negative comments could be so much as just judging someone for the way they may look or act which isn’t fair because most people don’t get to decide how they look unless they were to get body altering surgeries. I just feel like society is using the media to get their mindset across, which is in some ways good and other ways not so good. Also, at our grown age, I feel like it’s a little bit ridiculous there’s no reason that has a 45 year-old man you’re getting on the Internet to talk about a 25-year-old man not being on the same level as you well, I sure hope not considering you have a good 20 years on him. As we said before this is not about everybody, but I have noticed that a lot of women just aren’t very empowering to other women but want women to support them when they need it. I feel like as women we should all be sticking together more.
