Tubal Ligations Post Roe v Wade
Tubal ligations and permanent contraception, such as vasectomies, increased sharply in the US following the June 2022 Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe V Wade. Studies show that 70% to 100% surge in tubal ligation procedures among younger adults, particularly in states with abortion restrictions.
Most of the requests come from states that have banned abortion or made abortion unattainable, with a short window for learning of pregnancy. The increase is most notable for childless women under the age of 30. Some doctors refuse to perform a tubal ligation on single woman citing that their future husband may want children or they're too young!

I was not aware of this statistic and I find this very interesting. I find it mind blowing that their are doctors who are refusing this procedure because of what could happen. Not only are they assuming what may happen in the future, they are assuming what a MAN would want in the future. So doctors are now refusing procedures for women due to a made up reason that has to do with a man.
