Survivor 50

Recently my boyfriend and I started watching Survivor together. We decided to watch the new season, Survivor 50. In the past we had only watched a few random seasons here and there. This is the first time we are really following a season from the beginning and watching the episodes as they come out. So far there have only been two episodes, but a lot has already happened. Alliances are starting to form and players are already thinking about strategy. The tribal councils have been interesting because you never know who will be voted out. One small conversation can change everything in the game. That is what makes the show exciting to watch. One thing we really enjoy about this season is seeing players from seasons we have watched before. It is fun to recognize them and remember how they played in the past. Some of them look very different now compared to when they first played. It shows how much time has passed since their original seasons. It also makes the game more interesting because some players already have a reputation from their previous games. Another thing that will be interesting is the new format. The older seasons we watched were the original 39 day format. In those seasons the players stayed on the island longer and had more time to build relationships and make plans. The newer seasons of Survivor only last 26 days. Because the game is shorter, everything seems to move faster. Players may have less time to think about their decisions or build strong alliances. Overall it has been really fun to watch this season together. Now we look forward to the new episode each week and talk about what might happen next.
