Spring Break

 

For spring break, I have been watching some things on my Netflix watch list. Quite a few of the Jurassic World movies were added, so I watched Jurassic World Dominion, and plan to watch some others. I also watched the live action How to Train your Dragon. I have been trying to get into movies recently because I have always preferred shows. I enjoy the idea of Jurassic Park/ World, but I can’t say I thought it was a great execution. I do want to watch some of the others and compare them though. I loved How to Train your Dragon, though. I really want to watch the new School Spirits season, but I don’t have Paramount+, so right now I am finishing up some want to watches on Netflix and Disney Plus:)

    I loved the live action How to Train Your Dragon! I grew up watching that movie and so it was very nostalgic for me. I thought the remake was very true to the original while still being fresh enough to give it new life. I also thought the animation of the dragons was incredible.

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. She takes on the role of playing Galina (Galinda the Good), she is a very privileged and self-absorbed young woman who attends Shiz University and ends up facing an internal battle of being for the people or wanting her personal desire to keep her bond with Elphaba. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
