Moana 2
Okay, so Moana 2 is basically Moana leveling up big time and she's honestly one of my favorite Disney princesses. She’s still brave, super independent, and honestly a total boss. There’s this moment where the people of Motunui are cheering as she and her crew sail off together, and you’re just like, “Yaaas, queen! Leadership looks good on you.” Then there’s the sweet part where she takes her little sister Simea to the ocean, it’s cute, emotional, and lowkey gives me big sister goals vibes. The climax? She literally risks herself to touch a cursed island and her ancestors save her, and I was screaming in my head because that’s some epic courage right there. But what I love is that Moana makes all the big calls, fixes problems, and doesn’t need anyone to tell her what to do, she’s rewriting the whole “girls gotta sit quietly” script. Honestly, from a women and gender studies perspective, this movie is all about women owning their power, sticking together, honoring their roots, and proving you can be funny, fierce, and smart all at once.

I loved this movie with my roommate, and I always put this on whenever we are bored. I also love how much passion she has and how strong she is compared to other Disney princess
ReplyDeleteI love this movie and I think Moana is a great cartoon role model for younger girls. Her storyline is very unique and her character is a strong independent young woman who is determined to work for what she wants.
