Law and Order SVU

 Law and Order Special Victims Unit is a crime drama show that takes place in New York City that investigates crimes surrounding sexual assault, child abuse, and other serious offences. This series is about detectives of the Special Victims Unit of the Special Victims Unit work together to protect victims and bring criminals to justice. One of the most well-known characters in the show is Olvia Benson, who goes through it harshly but tries her hardest to help survivors. I’ve been watching this show since middle school which directed me into wanting to pursue the criminal justice field. I honestly can’t even have a favorite episode because each one is highly interesting, I just hate how long it’s been taking for new episodes since I watched the rest and even on down time or when I want to just eat and watch something I’ll rewatch old episodes. I like watching this show because it shows real world issues and how people in that field go about it and watching it you can also think of other ways that could’ve worked to help the crime etc.

    I have heard about this show, it seems really interesting and could be very fun! As a detective show that seems to be the main way it is popular, but I also like how it focuses on the more harder topics of the world. I may have to check it out.

    This show is an all time classic and a very good watch, I can't say that I've seen every episode but the ones I have seen are really good.

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses.
