F1 Movie

I watched the F1 Movie for the first time this weekend, and I must say I was a huge fan! The visuals were good, and I like how Brad played his character. F1 is a very male dominate sport, but there was one character who defied that. Kate McKenna works has the technical director for their team, which pretty much means she is responsible for engineering the car and its performance. What I found interesting about Kate’s character is that she represents a woman in a leadership position in a space that has traditionally been dominated by men. Motorsports, especially Formula 1, has historically had very few women in technical or decision-making roles. By showing Kate as the person making important engineering choices and helping guide the team, the film shows that women can hold positions of authority in these environments.
I agree! Kate’s character really stood out to me too. It was inspiring to see a woman in a leadership role in a mostly male sport. The movie showed exciting racing and also how women can succeed in engineering and making important decisions in F 1.
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree with how interesting Kate's character was and I think the movie was really good overall
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched this movie, but I like the fact women taking over in male dominate things.
