Elizabeth bennet

Elizabeth Bennet stands out from other women in her time because she refuses to marry just for money or social status. While most women were pressured to find a wealthy husband to secure their future, she values her own independence and only wants to marry for love. She is also incredibly witty and isn't afraid to speak her mind, even when she is talking to powerful people like Lady Catherine. I really enjoyed this character because she showed me that even though society expects different things from us we always have a choice. A lot of the time I find myself going along with what society says is right and wrong but she chooses to do the wrong thing in society's eyes but it was right for her.
