Electric State

Yesterday I watched Electric State on Netflix (while multi-tasking and solving a puzzle). It is a movie about a futuristic situation where humans and robots have gone to war. It is set after this war where robots must follow specific rules and humans and robots are to remain separate. The main character Michelle lost her entire family, including two parents and a genius brother, in a car accident, or so she thought. A robot shows up claiming to be her brother, and they go on an adventure to try and find his body in real life. Although parts of the movie are a bit corny, it can easily be related to today’s world. Mr. Peanut is in charge of the robots who are fighting for “Robot Rights.” He says a line about their 'existence relying on a piece of paper' which I thought was interesting... This movie, in general, is against the use of technology to an extent where humans don’t interact in real life. It was a decent watch.
