Are we okay?
Just something that's been on my mind for a while is...
The fact that we still have Trump as president. Unfortunately, my views on the "president" may not align with most people in this country, but it's for fair reasons at this point in time. Just to preface that not all presidents are innocent by any means this country was built on the backs of people of color's pain and suffering to left and up hold white people whether they are good or bad and in this instance I'm now learning that the United States and how it works was never in our favor (just look at The Hunger Games). I'm honestly fed up with the justifying that most people are doing for the "president" and his people. This blog post is to bring light to the contradictions that we are seeing.
Trump: (the literal "president" of the United States)
1. Trump being impeached - being impeached means you really had to mess up, and what he did was have sexual relations with a junior member of staff (and lie)
2. He approved a pipeline through Native Land- (greedy), and this plan was shut down by Obama
3. Calling far-right protesters "fine people"- while most are white supremacists and neo-nazis
4. Wanting transgender kids to use their assigned bathrooms- In 2017, he tried to stop transgender students from using school bathrooms in line with their genders
5. Tried to penalise 'sanctuary cities' for migrants- he tried to withhold federal funding because he wanted ICE to go in and deport
6. Spreading false information that vaccines cause autism- (but I bet he is vaccinated)
7. Not liking that people actually disagreed with him- challenging the concept that "presidents" don't have to answer to the federal courts and threatening to impeach judges who strike down his policies
Oh, I almost forgot the Epstein Files, with his name being in it more times than Jesus himself is named in the bible. There is so much more this man has done and continues to do until someone has the balls to stand up to the man. Where are we headed? We started a war for no reason, so we could be fearing for our safety rather than worrying about what type of underage girls Trump likes. It's disgusting how lightly people take the situation when we stand in protest for the "children," whether that be born or unborn, but we turned a blind eye to kids being shot in places they deemed safe, and or the fact that the "president" is a grapeist and has done some unspeakable things to children we so deeply care about. Another thing I want you to keep in mind, if Barack Obama did any of this stuff while he was president, we would have watched a televised modern-day lynching. He would not have made it this far.

I find it difficult for people to ignore the negative actions this presidency has taken against our country. Each action he takes against the citizens is exactly what Viktor Orban did to Hungary. Orban is now a dictator. Trump has limited the press in reporting facts by stating that the media is lying, the economy is flourishing, but we know it is not, getting into a war and bypassing Congress, adding a trillion dollars to the economy every 3 months, and the list goes on and on. My only hope is that all his wrongs can be reversed with the next presidential election.
