Welcome to Derry

Welcome to Derry
is the new prequel series that dives into the creepy, chaotic world of Stephen King’s It. It explores the town of Derry before Pennywise started terrorizing kids, giving fans a deeper look at the town’s dark history and twisted secrets. What I though was cool about the show is how it mixes horror with mystery and drama, making Derry feel like its own character. You get to see how fear and tragedy shaped the town, and the way the series builds tension is really interesting, it’s creepy without being over-the-top. Pop culture wise, it’s sparking tons of fan theories and TikTok breakdowns, which shows how invested people are in this universe. For anyone who loves horror or just wants a story that’s part thriller, part small-town drama, Welcome to Derry is a must watch. I already loved It and this was the perfect addition I can't wait for the next season!

  1. How unsettling is this series on a scale? I've outgrown the movies, but I still have yet to watch them. I've seen clips about it, and I wanted to ask if you knew about the theory that compares like penny wise to marry Poppins and like a turtle and other characters?

  3. I loveddd this show! Yes it was freaky and scary but I feel like alot of the underlying meanings and themes were silently spun in there. Especially considering the military scenes and characters and their arcs.

  4. I absolutely loved this show. I was so annoyed when I finished the first season because I feel like they definitely could've made the season longer. It most definitely is a thriller and very attention-catching; however, I noticed a few hidden themes, especially in the young girl Lily Bainbridge. She obviously had serious mental health issues that weren't being taken seriously!!
