Trilogy of Fear Street

The Fear Street Trilogy (2021) Review | Cinema Parrot Disco

The trilogy Fear Street is so good. Each movie kind of goes back and forth in time trying to tell us a story of why one side of town for years has been haunted. When watching these movies you somewhat have to actually pay attention in order to really grasp what is going on and why it's the same people when it's years before they were alive etc. It definitely has its jumpscares and shows some gruesome things, but personally all three movies are so good and 10/10. When watching till the end for me it really makes me think this is how it may have been, although some people don't believe in witches, but I personally do so when watching this, this probably happened years ago and some people do hear about it. While I’m trying to not spoil it, but back then if you were a witch in a small village or you did something out of the normal that today anybody would consider us crazy such as being gay you would automatically be called a witch because it wasn’t something in the bible to make it okay and if you did anything outside of the bible or what was in the bible you were automatically a witch and got hung immediately. When things like things are told and if you weren’t a witch I truly believe they can haunt what they want going based off of energy and things around that, even though topics like this are highly controversial, this three part movie makes me believe and think more about things like this and how this could of been something real, not the whole breaking the curse, but the sad old stories of what happened to people when being accused of being a witch, what considers you a witch and how fast you’re killed even without any evidence.

  1. I lovedddd these movies when they came out on netflix! I agree that I think that in the past and even now, sometimes there are insane reactions to things that genuinely just don't and shouldn't matter to others. Things like someone else's gender identity or sexuality don't have an effect on others, so for people to be so visibly upset about it, is just weird.

  2. I only see some of this on TikTok, and it doesn't really sit right with me how people are being judged and called names by others who are different from them. As well as how they talk about different things throughout the movies, than relying it back to today in a way
