The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty is one of my favorite shows that I have watched lately. I know this show has been running the past 3 summers but this season was my favorite so far. This show has a major love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah. The boys are brothers who recently lost their mother and they both love Belly and want the best for her. I feel like this show is a great example of what people were obsessed with over the summer and into the fall of '25. This show has a lot of different lessons I feel like especially with choosing friends over a boy as well as how important it is to live your life to the fullest and not let a guy make you lose yourself and not travel just because he can't. Belly almost lost the opportunity of a lifetime when she chose staying with jeremiah who had to repeat his last year of college and she stayed with him instead of studying abroad for the semester. I feel like she could've had both if she wasn't so scared of losing him while losing herself in the process.

  1. I love The Summer I Turned Pretty! I definitely agree; she could've had both if she was more willing to take the risk for herself rather than trying to please Jeremiah. I've been watching the show since the first season came out and I can't wait for the movie!

  2. I so agree! I understand you love Jeremiah but if he loved you he would want you to go to Paris.

  3. I definitely agree with what you're saying! Love is a two-way street of sacrifice and if he loved her, he would've understood why leaving to study abroad was best for her. They could have made the distance work while still achieving both their goals instead of having Belly sacrifice so much for him.

  4. This show started off as a chore my girlfriend made me do and it turned into me actually being interested in it. It's a great show.
