The End of the F***ing World (Blog 5)

The End of the F***ing World is a show (on Netflix) about a 17-year-old boy, James, who thinks he is a psychopath. He meets a girl named Alyssa who wants to date him, and he wants to kill her (to see what it feels like). They run away together, and he continues to try and kill her, and then he sort of starts to fall for her. It really goes to show that you cannot trust anyone. From an outside point of view, sure, he is a little odd, but he doesn’t seem like a killer. This is a show that focuses on many different mental concerns. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t watched it, but something happens to Alyssa, and James protects her. This is after something happens to James and Alyssa protects him. It is quite an interesting show that covers many sensitive topics, and it is cool, but weird, to see their relationship progress. All my friends and I enjoyed this show a lot.

    I saw this show when it first came out and I honestly forgot about how good it was. I don't remember much of the show so I may need to rewatch it but from what I remember I liked it!

    I don't remember this show because I don't think I actually sat and watched it like I should've but really think I might watch it again because it definitely had its interesting parts that I seen on social media and my mom enjoyed it too.

    I started watching this show a few months ago and simply forgot to go back and finish, this was a great reminder to go back because from what I had saw It was definitely interesting!

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut.
