Bojack Horseman

I am sure most people have heard about Bojack Horseman, at least a good chunk of the population has. But for those who haven't, it really is an incredible show. It centers around a washed-up celebrity named Bojack, who was a sitcom actor. He wants to be relevant again, and it centers around his mental health issues, such as depression, narcissism, and alcoholism. While it is not female-centered, it has many side stories and plots that revolve around women. His mother, his agent, and a writer who is part-Vietnamese. The show delves into some serious issues regarding celebrities. There are themes of suicide, grief, sexual abuse, and overdosing. I really recommend this show, as it does a lot for showing the problems people face, especially regarding Bojack's mother, Beatrice. Her story is very captivating and traumatic. I love it for what it talked about, and it did not hold back. It starts pretty light but gets heavier after the first season. Please go watch it.
