Aliens

 In a recent interview released a week ago, Obama claimed "they're real but I haven't seen them" as pertaining to Aliens. He added, "They're not being kept in Area 51. There's no underground facility unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States". Trump had something to say of course claiming he was revealing classified information. First, Trump then procedes to say how he'll "be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters". Although we don't have the files to interpret them ourselves, it is alarming but interesting how this is so regualrized to our generation and the people in general. Especialy following the Epstein files which I find ironic how Trump wants to release documents pertaining to Aliens because it seems as another distraction. Besides the point, Obama further added, "Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there's life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we've been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really". At this point, many of us are just so desensitized to what should be uncomprehendable possibilities, and we grew up our whole lives being told their not real and yet we're saying its a high possibility, politically now. I would harp on the fact that so many individuals are desensitized to seeing violence, laws, and astounding anomalies. Media has been negatively deregulated which regulates our brains to be suceptible to anything controversial.

    I agree, I think this is most likely a distraction. The long argued about debate on aliens is something that will completely blow up and everyone will want to look at those files and gain more knowledge and forget about other crazy files that have just been released.

A Heated Rivalry or Wicked Misogyny?

 As someone who may hold bias to the extent that I refuse to watch Heated Rivalry, I think it's important to state that I've seen a couple of episodes, and the show just isn't for me. I've also watched both the Wicked movies starring Cynthia Erivo and Arianna Grande. Now you are probably wondering what these two media films have in common. Well, nothing to be exact, and I think that's the preface we must state first.  This isn't about the series/movies, it's about the co-stars, but first, here's a little context you may need to understand where I am coming from. Arianna Grande plays in the musical adaptation of Wicked and Wicked for Good, directed by Jon M. Chu. Intro/Post-Grad Plans!

Hi everyone, My name is Emily Webb, and I’m from Frederick, Maryland. I am a senior majoring in Digital Culture & Design with a double minor in Graphic Design and Social Media. I am currently finishing up my applications for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs in Technology Education or Art Education. My goal is to become a secondary teacher for digital arts courses. I am excited about combining my love for digital media with teaching and helping students develop both creative and technical skills. Outside of school, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut. I love designing projects and bringing them to life by pressing my designs onto clothes and other items. Creating something tangible from a digital idea is really rewarding.
